Payment information

During check out, you may choose to pay via credit card. We accept credit card payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

You can find the Stripe privacy policy at https://stripe.com/gb/privacy.

Comments and reviews

When visitors leave comments or reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the comments/review form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

We use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

Google Web Fonts

For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. When you call up a page of our website, your browser makes a direct connection with Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer. Further information about handling user data can be found at developers.google.com and in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

For privacy reasons, we plan to serve the webfonts ourselves in the future, so that they are not requested from Google directly.

Who we share your data with

We will share your postal address with the Swiss Post in order to be able to send the shipment to you.

We will share your payment data with Stripe in order to be able to process payments.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We generally store information about you (like your shipping address) for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, or as long as necessary to comply with legal requirements.

We regularly delete some parts of the stored data:

  • Inactive accounts: After 12 months (Accounts which have not logged in, or placed an order, for the specified duration. Any orders will be converted into guest orders.)
  • Pending and failed orders: After 90 days (Unpaid and may have been abandoned by the customer.)
  • Cancelled orders: After 90 days (Unpaid and may have been cancelled by the store owner or customer.)

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

We regularly update our servers and software installations to prevent unauthorized access.
